The Coaster.

This is a small crusing yacht based upon the hull of the Longboat. With a slightly reduced rig and the addition of a cabin, the Coaster is a long weekender for four.

The cabin gives you two full-length berths, cooking and toilet facilities, plus plenty of usable storage space. With the sprayhood and boat tent, another two berths can be provided.

A 6 to 8hp. outboard is recommended to suppliment the 164 sq. ft. of sail.

The centreplate is set in an integral trunk and is operated by rotary winch from the cockpit. The outboard sits in a well and can be lifted clear of the water when not in use.

As with the Longboat, the Coaster can be trailered or left on a mooring as you wish.
