The Gig.

The largest boat in the Drascombe range, the Gig is designed for use as a training vessel. Sea cadets, colleges and naval training establishments all train crews in Drascombe Gigs.

There's plenty for a crew of ten to deal with, including reefing points on the jib and mailsail. Alternatively, theres enough ballast to keep the boat stable with a lighter crew.

The Gig will convert for serious rowing or proper sailing according to your needs, so you don't have to compromise.There's room for a 10 to 15hp. outboard plus accompanying fuel tanks.

Other features include enclosed centerplate, reinforced keel and, as with all Drascombes, more than enough integral bouyancy to float boat and crew.
