The Scaffie. 

Just a capable as the bigger Drascombes, the Scaffie is built to the same proud standards of craftsmanship evident in all the Drascombe range. Every boat is finished individually, employing bronze, brass and hardwood. Superior materials and attention to detail give good looks that last.

The single standing lug sail, loose-footed for safety and simplicity, gives the Scaffie a really brisk performance. When you want to motor, a 2 to 3hp. outboard is all you need to drive the boat along. The Scaffie makes an excellent rowing boat too, light on pull and easy to hold on course. An optional sloop rig is also available.

Though only 4.50m (14ft. 9in) overall, the Scaffie is quite roomy enough - because there's no centreplate to fill up the cockpit. In fact, two people can sleep in her.

There's plenty of room for adventure in a Scaffie.
